The Planning and Zoning Commission met in Regular Session on Monday, July 1, 2013 at 5:33 p.m. in
the City Council Chamber, City Hall, with the following members present: Chairman Fernando
Ramirez; Commissioners: Norris Simon, Richard Cox, Alma LeBlanc and Inell Moore
Staff present: Ronald Burton, Director of Planning, Paul Brown, Senior Planner and Pamela
Langford, Administrative Aide
II. REGULAR MEETING
A. R13 -12 - REPLAT APPROVAL REQUESTED FOR - TRACT 18 -A. 0.58 ACRE OF LAND. REPLAT
OF A PORTION OF LOTS 18 AND 19. BLOCK 39. PORT ACRES TOWNSITE. CITY OF PORT
ARTHUR. JEFFERSON COUNTY. TEXAS (PROPERTY LOCATED SOUTH OF ORCHID STREET AND
EAST ON MAUVE AVENUE).
Fernando Ramirez introduced the above - mentioned replat request.
Paul Brown gave an overview of the above - mentioned request.
The Commission opened the meeting to hear from anyone present in the audience who
wished to speak regarding the above - mentioned request:

Speaking Against: None
Upon the motion of N. Simon, seconded by A. LeBlanc /L Moore and carried unanimously, the
Planning and Zoning Commission closed the Public Hearing.
B. ITEMS REQUIRING ACTION
A. APPROVAL OF REPLAT REQUEST R13 -12
Paul Brown recommended that Replat request R13 -12 be approved.
The motion was made by A. LeBlanc, seconded by 1. Moore to accept the Planning Staffs
recommendation to approve Replat request R13 -12.

Upon the motion of N. Simon, seconded by A. LeBlanc and carried unanimously, the
Planning and Zoning Commission approved the above - mentioned minutes as
