Purpose of Replat: Development /construction of multi- family housing and a
commercial tract.
On July 15, 2013, at a regularly scheduled meeting of the Planning and Zoning Commission,
Replat No. R13 -15 was approved for the consolidation of a portion of Lots 4 and 5, Block
13, Range "K" and Lots 1 and 8, Block 13, Range "L ", Port Arthur Land Company
Subdivision. The replat was not recorded with the Jefferson County Clerk's. By the request
of Ross Blackketter, Director of Public Works /City Engineer, this amendment is being
submitted to show a reserve tract (Tract 8 -C) for the required street location, as agreed
upon by the City of Port Arthur.
On Thursday, October 10, 2013, three (3) notices were mailed to adjacent property owners
within a 200 ft. radius and the notice was published in the Port Arthur News on Thursday,
October 10, 2013; more than ten (10) days prior to the P &Z public hearing scheduled for
October 21, 2013.

Purpose of Replat: Commercial Construction (Hotel)
On October 1, 2012, at a regularly scheduled meeting of the Planning and Zoning
Commission, Replat No. R12 -27 was approved for the consolidation of a portion of Tract 3
of the replat titled Tracts 1, 2 and 3 out of Lots 5 and 6, Block 12, Range "J ". The replat was
recorded with the Jefferson County Clerk's office on October 3, 2012 (File No.
2012033239). By the request of Kelly Eldridge, Consultant for the Department of Utility
Operations, this amendment is being submitted to show utility easements as agreed upon
by the City of Port Arthur.
On Thursday, October 10, 2013, five (5) notices were mailed to adjacent property owners
within a 200 ft. radius and the notice was published in the Port Arthur News on Thursday,
October 10, 2013; more than ten (10) days prior to the P &Z public hearing scheduled for
October 21, 2013.
