BACKGROUND The Purchasing Division advertised in the Port Arthur News November 30, 2006 and December 3, 2006 for the sale of Fairlea Park, Fairlea Addition. Bids were opened Decembar 20, 2006 with only one response, Total Petrochemicals USA, Inc. BUDGETARY/FISCAL EFFECT None SUMMARY The Purchasing Division recommends the City Council adopt Proposed Ordinance No. 5714 authorizing the sale of Falrlea Park, (lots 11, 12, 13, and 14, Block 5, Fairlea Addition) to Total Petrochemicals USA, Inc., in the amount o£$18,000.
