A RESOLUTION APPOINTING AND/OR REAPPOINTING A MEMBER OR MEMBERS TO THE PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION WHEREAS, the term of Planning and Zoning Commissioners Fernando Ramirez and Richard Cox will expire October 30, 2015; and, WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 1 of Article XI of the Charter of the City of Port Arthur, the said City Planning and Zoning Commission shall be composed of five (5) members and shall be appointed for a term of one, two, three, four and five year terms, respectively; now therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT ARTHUR: Section 1: That the facts and opinions in the preamble are true and correct. Section 2: That Richard Cox is reappointed to serve as a member of the Planning and Zoning Commission for a four (4) year term, expiring October 30, 201 8, as delineated in Exhibit "A„ Section 3: That Fernando Ramirez is reappointed to serve as a member of the Planning and Zoning commission for a five (5) year term, expiring October 30, 2019, as delineated in Exhibit "A". Section 3: That the appointees shall immediately contact the City Secretary's Office and be sworn in. Section 4: That this Resolution shall be effective immediately. Section 5: That a copy of the caption of this Resolution be spread upon the Minutes of the City Council.
