A RESOLUTION CANCELLING THE MARCH 3, 2015
REGULARLY SCHEDULED COUNCIL MEETING
WHEREAS,per Section 2-51 (c) of the Code of Ordinances, the date and time of
a regular Council Meeting can be changed upon a duly adopted motion of the City
Council with a finding that a temporary change is necessary or is more convenient to
conduct public business; and,
WHEREAS, the regularly scheduled Council Meeting on March 3, 2015 falls
during the annual Golden Triangle Days event in Austin, Texas; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has decided to conduct public business at the next
regularly scheduled council meeting on Tuesday, March 17, 2015; and
WHEREAS,it is necessary to cancel the March 3, 2015 Council Meeting; and
WHEREAS, the next council meeting shall be on Tuesday, March 17, 2015 at
8:30 a.m.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF PORT ARTHUR,TEXAS:
Section 1. That the facts and opinions in the preamble are true and correct.
Section 2. That the Council Meeting of March 3, 2015 is cancelled and the
next Council Meeting will be Tuesday, March 17, 2015 at 8:30 a.m.
