StaffAnalysis, Considerations: This project was to install and furnish a new vertical pump at the Main Lift Station. The original vertical pump has burnt up and is important to operation usage. The Main Lift Station is one of our largest stations that pump wastewater to our Main Wastewater Treatment Plant. Six bids were received in April, 2015, and the lowest responsive bid was submitted by Houston Motor& Control. Houston Motor& Control was not able to provide the vertical pump specified. The Utility Operations Department will also make changes to the specifications for this equipment. This equipment will be re-bid and brought before Council at a future date. Recommendation: I recommend that the City Council approve Proposed Resolution No. 19013. Budget Considerations: None. P. R. No. 19013 05/20/15jj RESOLUTION NO.
