HomeMy WebLinkAbout2002 CDBG REQUESTSINTEROFFICE MEMORANDUM TO: FROM: SUBJECT: DATE: STEVE FITZGIBBONS, CITY MANAGER DALE L. WATSON, DIRECTOR OF PLANNING 2002 CDBG REQUESTS 02/14/02 The past several years the Council has balanced the CDBG Public Service budget by reducing each"applicant's request by the percentage necessary to balance. I have attached three charts that accomplish this based on different assumptions. Chart 1. Has a column showing each applicants allocation, reduced to balance, for both their original request and their reduced request. Chart 2. Assumes not funding the PAISD, because they did not make a presentation to the City Council and starting with the other applicant's original request. If the PAISD is not funded and the alternative requests of the other applicants are used, they all can be funded and have $15,404 remaining. All City Department requests can be funded with a 4% reduction in their requested amounts.
