No. 11734 04/09/02 - ts RESOLUTION NO. A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT WITH ALPHA-LEE ENTERPRISES, INC., REGARDING THE JULY 4, 2002 FIREWORKS DISPLAY. TOTAL COST OF THE CONTRACT IS $14,800 WITH THE CITY'S CONTRIBUTION BEING $7,400 (ACCOUNT NO. 001-1003-512.59-00 M99901) (REQUESTED BY CITY MANAGER) WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Port Arthur deems it in the best interest of the citizens to approve ' s a contract with Alpha-Lee Enterprmse , Inc., regarding the booking of the City's July 4, 2002 fireworks display. July 5, 2002 will be the rain date, unless advised otherwise. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF Section preamble are true and Section 2. That authorized Enterprises, fireworks attached in and opinions in the PORT ARTHUR: 1. That the facts correct. the City Manager to execute a contract with Inc., regarding the City's July 4, display, with a rain date of July 5, substantially the same form as Exhibit shall be Alpha-Lee 2002 2002, Section 3. That the City contribution shall be $7,400 and that this Resolution is contingent upon an additional $7,400 being donated from other sources. Section 4. That a copy of the caption of this Resolution be spread upon the Minutes of the City Council.
