A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER AND THE CITY ATrORNEY TO PURCHASE LOTS 14 AND 15, BLOCK 2, SCHMYSER 3, THAT IS ADIACENT TO WEST 7TM STREET AND TO EXECUTE THE NECESSARY CLOSING DOCUMENTS (ACCOUNT NO. 301- 1601- 591.81-00 CIP 909) WHEREAS, thc City desircs to purchasc Lots 14 and 15, Block 2, Schmyscr 3 that is located adjacent to West 7m Street. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT ARTHUR: Section 1. That thc facts and opinions in thc preamble are truc and correct. Section 2. That the City Manager and thc City Attomcy arc herein authorized to take such necessary steps to purchase Lots 14 and 15, Block 2, Schmyscr 3. Section 3. Thc purchase pdce for the property shall be as delineated in Exhibit Section 4. That a copy of thc caption of this Resolution be spread upon the Minutes of the City Council.
